Classical and Christian Sites Greece Archaeology Tour Itinerary
- Saturday - Athens: Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Balance of the day at leisure
- Sunday - Athens: Morning City Tour includes visit to the Acropolis and its Museum. Afternoon at leisure (B)
- Monday - Athens/Corinth: Half Day tour to Ancient Corinth (B)
- Tuesday - Athens/Nafplio: Depart this morning on a five day Classical tour. Today visit Mycenae and Epidaurus and then on to the picturesque town of Nafplio for overnight stay (B,D)
- Wednesday - Nafplio/Olympia: Drive in the morning through the Central Peloponnese, Arcadia, to Olympia for a visit to the Sanctuary of the Olympian Zeus and overnight stay (B,D)
- Thursday - Olympia/Delphi: Drive through Patras (crossing by car-ferry) to Delphi for an overnight stay (B,D)
- Friday - Delphi/Meteora: Visit the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios and the Museum. Depart for Kalambaka(Meteora) for overnight stay (B,D)
- Saturday - Meteora/Athens: Visit the ageless monasteries perched high atop the huge rocks of Meteora. Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia, Thermopylae (visit). Overnight in Athens. (B)
- Sunday - Athens: Free day in Athens (B)
- Monday - Athens/Mykonos: Transfer to Piraeus port to embark your luxurious cruise ship to Mykonos. Visit of the island (L,D)
- Tuesday - Kusadasi/Patmos: First port of call today will be the port city of Ephesus, Kusadasi. Then on to the island of Patmos (B,L,D)
- Wednesday - Rhodes: Early morning call to the magnificent island of Rhodes (B,L,D)
- Thursday - Heraklion/Santorini: First port of call will be Heraklion in Crete. Then on to Santorini (B,L,D)
- Friday - Piraeus/Airport: Disembarkation after breakfast and transfer to airport for your departure flight (B)
OPTIONALS
1. Half Day private tour with guide to the Monastery of Kaissariani and the Byzantine Museum.
2. Half Day private tour with guide to the Byzantine Museum and the Byzantine church in Kapnikarea.
3. Full Day private tour with guide to Mystras.
4. Full Day private tour with guide to the Monastery of Elona in Leonidio (Arcadia) and the Monasteri of Malevi in Astros near St. Peter.
